How To Set Order Of Auto Blog Posts 6 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi Carty & Forum Members ...

Right, I've downloaded all the content I propose to upload for the next fortnight ...

I've got a mixture of articles, Amazon content, YouTube videos, etc ... you get the picture - but how do I post ALL my posts in a set order ?

Say I want 3 articles to post first followed by 1 Amazon content post, followed by 1 YT video and then 4 articles - in that order - how do you schedule it to run that way where you actually set out which item you want to post first and what posts next ?

I understand how to set ABS to upload and post everything on auto pilot but at the moment, everything is posting as it likes within the time schedule I set - what I'm looking at now is how to tell it exactly what order I want everything posting in.

Is this possible ?

Regards
Jane

I'm not sure exactly how you want it set up, but can't you just schedule each post in the order you want? Since you know how to schedule the posts, just put each post schedule in the order you want. That way the posts will show up in the order you want.

Hi,

It isn't something I want to set up in as much as it posts the same way each day, each week.

Once I've got all the material I want to upload to post on say a daily basis and there is a fortnights worth of content, I'd like to somehow, run through all the content quickly and put it in an order that I want it to be posted.

Even if it means the top items ticked get posted first - i.e. you could re-order the items and the top one would be posted on the first day, next one down would be posted second etc ...

Perhaps if Carty could add another column which allowed the user to set order of importance ?

Just a quick way of doing it all - instead of having to go into the schedule and manually alter the dates on all the items for posting.

Not sure how you mean to put in the order I want - how do you do that ... can you drag and drop them or do you mean to manually go in and adjust the scheduled times ?

I did this myself a little while ago, i think you tick the one you want first or just one with the post all shechule and then subequent post are just ticked to add to the shed with the same button and it automatically adds them on top of the sched you have set, although you will ahve to tick them and submit one by one, check it out with a few test posts!

Oh I guess you would have to reorder them around like saltysea said, and see if if that works. Yea what I meant was to manually go in and adjust the scheduled times. That is what I have done for my posts because after I edit up each post I set the schedule right away and just have it posted.
