Hoping we can get an answer to this soon. My blogging campaign is on hold until I can get this fixed.

I've also submitted a support request.

I'm wondering if a fresh install would fix it. But the, I would probably lose all of the feeds I previously set up.

Hi all I have managed to get a fix for this problem from Nick he sent me a new script this is the email That Nick sent me I have pasted it below, if you have a problem doing as Nick suggests as I did then you should copy and paste the new script into the folder then make a copy of the folder containing the software onto a flash drive then open the copy on the flash drag and drop the copy of the new settings into the folder after you have deleted the old one then copy this folder back to your c: drive that should do the trick I do not know if it will help you all especially the guys who already got domains added to the software perhaps it would be best to copy the original onto a disk or pen just in case.

David

Dear David,
I have attached a file names Settings.txt with this email. Please open the software' install folder (C:\Program Files\CartyStudios Corp.\WebMag..) and paste this file there after deleting the old one there. Then open the software and tell me if the error disappears.

And this is the new script:

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<configuration>
<appSettings>
<add key="FormX" value="72" />
<add key="FormY" value="163" />
<add key="FormW" value="991" />
<add key="FormH" value="662" />
<add key="Div1" value="215" />
<add key="Trans" value="Bing" />
</appSettings>
</configuration>

Thanks, David,

Looks like I'm back in business again.

I copied the script and saved it as the settings.txt file (copying over the old one in the process). Had to spend a good bit of time getting Windows to allow me to save a file in the folder, but that was the fault of Windows and its folder-protection scheme (confusing!). Anyway, once I had the new settings.txt in place, I re-started ABS and it fired up perfectly -- not only can I now access it again, but all of my previously entered feeds were intact.

Thanks for posting.
