I think the promotion is over, try anyway. You can apply the coupon just before payment, in the last step of Checkout process.

Guys,

I've switched away from GoDaddy as its about marketing to the masses and gimmicks. I think, once you become a professional you'll go to another hosting such as 1and1.com. Just compare the 'privacy' policies.

You switched for hosting account alone or for domain registrations all-together?

was the latter Nick,

Switched over to 1and1 as their day to day cost was much lower than go-daddy and they offer privacy option at no charge. For my hosting i now use an SEO account with different class c and add-on domains(seo-host.com). I feel go-daddy is over commercialized and I really dont care about DP endorsement ( ive met TC in person from DofT).

Just FYI on 1and1.com hosting.

I had an account w/ them w/ 1 domain name. I was using it for a CPA offer and had forgotten about it.

My credit card I had on file w/ 1an1 expired and apparently the email I had on file with them was one I rarely checked so I didn't get the notices about suspending my account.

All of a sudden I have a collection agency calling and snail mailing me stating my hosting account was turned over to them for collection.

According to 1and1 TOS, you must either login to your account and manually cancel your account, or you have to call the customer service and do it. Otherwise they continue to bill you and refer your account to collections for non-payment.

Have never had any other company do that when the CC expired. They just closed my account.

Hope this helps
